The London Eye becomes a pub to celebrate its 20th birthday
At first place, this place looks like a traditional pub – but it’s actually a pod on the London Eye.
The famous attraction is celebrating 20 years as part of the London skyline so they’re transforming each of the pods into different experiences.
One of the capsules is becoming The King Vic – a pub 135m high in the air.
The pub will open from 7 until 9 March but you’ll get just 30 minutes so drink up.
All proceeds will to Merlin’s Magic Wand – a charity that provides amazing experiences for ill, disabled or disadvantaged children.
There will also be pampering sessions, cocktail masterclasses, silent disco and even spinning class pods.
Another pod has been decorated in rainbow colours to celebrate Pride and another will be encased in an original design by street artist Ben Eine and it is being kept as a surprise for now.
For kids, there’s storytime with Hamleys and the ultimate kids birthday party with face painting and balloons.
The London Eye explained: ‘These amazing pods will be tiered with five immersive ‘WOW’ experiences delivering all unique aspects of why you love London.
‘The remaining fifteen pods will play host to a variety of one-off experiences that celebrate culture, the arts and entertainment of London.’
